Ngoma Dolce Music Academy was founded in 2010 with the objective of providing a focus for music in Lusaka and beyond. Our aim is to provide high quality education in music, leading through the exams of the ABRSM, and to enlarge the musical education for all students, music teachers, and lovers of music through performance, seminars, and workshops.
We can arrange tuition on other instruments in consultation with students and parents. We strongly encourage beginners to learn in groups (up to five students in each group) as this encourages a positive approach to performance. This is especially important for children and we use the Suzuki method for such groups.
All students are strongly encouraged to take theory lessons in parallel with practical lessons, and this is an integral part of the Premier Tuition Syllabus. We also offer Inspired By Music – a series of seminars for older and younger students and music aficionados who wish to develop their musical understanding in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere more like a club.
